The Huddersfield Town Disabled Supporters Club was originally formed in July 1999, we used to have monthly meetings at the Rope Walk pub, but the club was reformed in August 2003 and we now meet on the second Wednesday of the month at Almondbury Disabled Leisure club, Old School Lane off Northgate Almondbury. From 8.00 till 10.00.
The Almondbury club is Wheelchair friendly and our membership is open to all types of disability. Friends and carers are welcome, our membership fee is £3.50
Our meeting involve discussing the clubs progress and various football topics but we also have….
- Quizzes
- Games nights
- Horse and Dog racing nights
- Trips to ten pin bowling
- Treasure hunts
- Outings for meals.
We also have had visits from the Clubs players, and other supporters groups.
The club has also various refreshment themes for its meeting.
The members use various parts of the ground to support the team as the club has 242 spaces for wheelchair supporters and 26 positions for Visually impaired.
The club is honoured to be represented on the Development Association Committee and the club has contributed to the finances of the association in past years.
We are also very pleased to be part of the Supporters Association.
